The Conversation Hour: Greens Christine Milne, Rocky Horror creator Richard O’Brien, and Craig McLachlan

Singer-songwriter Rebecca Barnard is Jon Faine’s co-host. She was the frontwoman of Rebecca’s Empire, and her new solo album is Music for Listening and Relaxation.

Their first guest is Christine Milne. She was leader of the Australian Greens (2012-2015), a Senator for Tasmania (2005-2015), and a Tasmanian MP (Lyons 1989-1998), and is now an Ambassador for the Global Greens. Her memoir is An Activist Life (UQP).

Then they are joined by actor, musician, and writer Richard O’Brien and actor, singer, and songwriter Craig McLachlan with guitar in hand.

Richard is the creator of The Rocky Horror Show (music, lyrics, and book), which was first staged in 1973. He also co-wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and played Riff Raff in both the original stage production and the film.

Craig stars as Frank N Furter in Richard O’Brien’s ROCKY HORROR SHOW at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Melbourne from 13th July 2018.
